Morning Aerobics Group Class – Beginner to Intermediate Level
These classes are designed for those at a beginner to intermediate fitness level. Join us as we follow guided online workouts that incorporate cardio, light strength training, balance, and stretching exercises. Light weights are available to borrow at the Clubhouse.
Happy Gang Group Class – Beginner to Senior Fitness Level
This class is specially crafted for seniors and beginners. Led by a community instructor with music, participants engage in strength, balance, and stretching exercises that help maintain functionality in daily activities. Light weights and other equipment are available to borrow at the Clubhouse.
Government-Supported Senior Exercise Class
Offered by the provincial government, these classes are tailored for seniors looking to stay active and maintain muscle strength and mobility. The focus is on safe, effective exercises that support aging bodies.
Aquafit – Beginner to Senior Fitness Level
Aquafit is perfect for those seeking a low-impact workout that’s easy on the joints, especially knees. The class combines cardio, strength, and stretching exercises, all while benefiting from the water’s buoyancy to reduce strain on the body.
Chair Yoga – Beginner to Senior Fitness Level
Ideal for seniors and beginners, this chair yoga class offers a gentle introduction to yoga. The instructor leads slow-paced movements with the support of a chair, minimizing physical strain while still offering the benefits of yoga.
Gentle Yoga – Beginner to Senior Fitness Level
This class is for those who can comfortably get down on the floor and rise without assistance. Whether you prefer mat-based or standing poses, this traditional yoga session focuses on flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
HVRC Gym – Exercise at Your Own Pace
The HVRC Gym allows you to exercise at your own pace. Our gym is equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, upright fitness cycles, and a universal gym set with a leg press. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, the gym is a great place to work on your personal goals.
